With the announcement of the next Windows Server release, called Windows Server 2025, Microsoft decided to organize the next Windows Server Engineering Summit. The Windows Server Summit 2024 will take place March 26-28, 2024, 8 AM – 4 PM Pacific Time with many sessions around Windows Server solutions.
I´m happy to be invited to hold two sessions, which I think are really important and value from Management and Migration purposes.
7 steps for a successful Azure migration
In this session, I will cover the important steps that need to be considered to prepare, execute and follow up on a successful Azure migration.
I will cover different aspects such as the Cloud Adoption Framework, the Well-architected Framework and the different solutions around Azure migrate, showing some live demos.
Manage Azure File Sync with Windows Admin Center
In the second session, I will discuss the Windows Admin Center and why I believe this is a key aspect of server management today, whether you want to manage Windows Server 2025 or older all the way back to Windows Server 2008.
In the various live demos, I will cover the management aspects and set up a fully functional Azure File Sync solution, which is an additional service that is especially worth a look if you are still running Windows file servers locally.
