The Microsoft Security Community programm continues to grow and there are many exiting new features and additional previews coming to live. I´m working on some of the new previews to gain insights and provide feedback and there are really great new offerings coming.
I`m happy to share that I was awarded as Defender for Cloud Champion and as Community Advocate 2024.
Microsoft describes the Defender for Cloud Champion as follows:
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Champion badge is awarded to members who have demonstrated their skills and provided in-depth technical knowledge and feedback on Microsoft Defender for Cloud product features.
The program is based on a scorecard and any feedback you provide is evaluated and ofers the opportunity to earn various badges and awards in the Security space. The advantage is that you can focus on a specific product if you w ant to gain deeper knowledge about that product and upcoming features.
I am currently looking forward to the release of Microsoft Security Exposure Management, which provides enhanced end-to-end visibility across all assets in the environment and automatically classifies these assets according to their risk.
Another interesting solution is Entra Secure Global Access. Under this brand, Microsoft has developed a standardized Security Service Edge (SSE) solution that integrates network, connection, identity and endpoint controls.
I am proud to have received this award and would like to thank the security team for their great support over the past year. I look forward to the upcoming previews in 2024 and a great exchange with the security community. Special thanks to Tom Janetscheck, Thomas Naunheim, Pablo Chacón and Kristina Quick for their support.
