After a great week I sitting in the airplane back on my way to cologne. Yesterday was the first Azure Saturday in Berlin and I was invited to hold a session about Azure File Sync. It was a great session with lot´s of questions, ideas and discussion about the benefits from using Azure File Sync. So I often had to watch the clock so I stayed within the time 🙂
The event itself was great and good organized by Jan and Benjamin, but unfortunatelly Benjamin was sick and not on the Azure Saturday, so I wish that you feel better in the next couple of days. The keynote was also a gread idea from the organizers. The invited Franziska to talk about inclusion and how software must improve in the future so that is usuable by disability persons. Sandra itself is blind and has a different perpective and this was good to hear. This was also a good reminder for the community, how important it is to looking for location that was fit for disability.
After this great keynote the day starting with two paralell tracks and another workshop track thas was going over 3 hours. There was a lot of different sessions, from Azure Stack Development Kit from Carsten, to a great talk about using Terrarform from Thorsten Hans, to Azure machine learning and lots more.
You can find my slides from Azure File Sync here. Did you have any questions about the service it self or the idea to backup your file server via azure file sync, please feel free to contact me. Thanks for inviting me and for the lots of great questions. Hope to see you all on the next Azure Saturday in Munich 🙂
I will write a blog article about the benefits of Azure File Sync in the next days.
