New Azure Database and DataAnalyst Exams Available DA-100 & DP-300

Short notice: In the last days Microsoft announced two new exams in the Microsoft learning blog for the data area.

General

The two new exams are:

Both exams are released as beta exam. This means that the first 300 people who book the exam and take it by 31.05.2020 at latest will receive a discount of 80% of the exam price. This reduces the price from 165€ to 39,27€. Book the exam over the Microsoft MCP Portal or directly over the exam site and use the discount code at the payment process. When the limit capacity of 300 codes are reached, you get a notice.

DA-100

The new DA-100 is for Data Analysts they are analyse vast volume of data and have good experience to aggegrate and visualize the data with Power BI. So if your work with Power BI in your business every day and are responsible for data reports this exam is for you.

They needed skills and the link to book the exam are available under the Exam DA-100 Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI.

Skills measured

  • Prepare the data (20-25%)
  • Model the data (25-30%)
  • Visualize the data (20-25%)
  • Analyze the data (10-15%)

DP-300

The new DP-300 is for Azure database administrator they are responsible for the management, availability, and security of databases, plus performance monitoring and optimization of modern relational database solutions. So if your work with Microsoft SQL solutions in your daily business this exam is for you.

They needed skills and the link to book the exam are available under the Exam DP-300 Administering relational databases on Microsoft Azure.

  • Perform administration by using T-SQL (10-15%)

Please note, this is a beta exam and after you finish the exam it takes up to 8 weeks befor you get the result.
